Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline Assault Paul Heyman. (X)
Sikoa, who succeeded Roman Reigns as the Tribal chief asked Heyman to put the garland around his neck in a gesture of acknowledgement. The Wiseman refused to do so and his disrespectful response didn’t go down well with Sikoa as he immediately knocked down Heyman with a Samoan Spike.
The Bloodline members, led by Solo Sikoa, launched a brutal attack on Paul Heyman on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown on June 28. The Friday night show opened with Solo, accompanied by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, engaging in a random brawl with the trio of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. The fight became so intense that some police officers had to intervene. Solo and his friends were forced to leave the arena before the SmackDown show moved to the main segment. Once all the scheduled matches were wrapped up, Solo, Tama, Loa and Heyman once again came out of the tunnel for ‘The Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony’.
The main highlight of the segment was the introduction of Jacob Fatu as a new Bloodline member. Solo Sikoa, who has succeeded Roman Reigns to become the Tribal Chief, asked the other members of his faction to acknowledge him. Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Fatu wasted no time obeying his command. Solo then brought out a red Ula Fala that Reigns used to wear during his time at the helm.
The Bloodline chief asked Paul Heyman to put the garland around his neck in a gesture of acknowledgement. The Wiseman refused to do so and instead, he said, “I acknowledge You Are Not My Tribal Chief.” His disrespectful response didn’t go down well with Solo Sikoa, who immediately knocked down Heyman with a Samoan Spike.
Solo then called up his enforcer Jacob Fatu and asked him to take down Heyman. Fatu hit the 58-year-old with a big dive off the top rope and then dragged him to the announcer’s desk. Solo ordered Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to join Fatu and execute a triple powerbomb on Heyman. Following the incident, lights were turned off at Madison Square Garden and the SmackDown show went off the air.
Heyman was severely injured due to the attack by the Bloodline. After the event was over, the medical staff was seen taking Heyman out of the arena on a stretcher. Following the altercation with Solo Sikoa, it is unlikely for Heyman to reunite with the Bloodline. In this scenario, the Tribal Chief will need to look out for a deserving replacement for the Wiseman.
