Ola has become the first-ever electric two-wheeler manufacturer to record over 2.65 lakh registrations in a single calendar year

Ola Electric has today announced that it has posted a total registrations of 30,219 units in December 2023. In the final month of the 2023 calendar year, the Bengaluru-based manufacturer recorded a total market share of 40 per cent in the electric two-wheeler segment as per Vahan data, continuing its string of successful monthly sales tallies.

The company garnered its highest-ever monthly registrations during the month as well and posted a year-on-year volume growth of 74 per cent compared to the same month last year. In addition, OLA RECORDED a Q-o-Q growth of 48 per cent with 83,963 registrations during the third quarter of this financial year and a massive Y-o-Y growth of 68 per cent when compared to the same quarter last FY.

Ola has also achieved a new milestone in December 2023 as it has reached the total production of four lakh scooters over the period of just twenty four months. The brand has also emerged as the first ever zero-emission two-wheeler manufacturer to record over 2.65 lakh registrations, as per VAHAN Portal, in a single calendar year in India.

The strong sales momentum comes on the back of Ola introducing attractive offers and an expanded product range during the festive season. The second generation Ola S1 Pro, currently the flagship scooter, is priced at Rs. 1,47,999 while the S1 Air costs Rs. 1,19,999. The Ola S1X consists of three variants namely S1 X+, S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X (2kWh).

The S1 X+ carries a sticker tag of Rs. 89,999 with a flat INR 20,000 offer on the ex-showroom price of Rs. 1,09,999. The booking window for the S1 X (3kWh) and S1 X (2kWh) is already open for an initial token of Rs. 999 only and will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 99,999 and Rs. 89,999 respectively.
