Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be powered by a 373.2 cc liquid-cooled engine and it will go on sale on May 3 in India

Bajaj Auto will host the launch of the Pulsar NS400 on May 3, 2024. With just two days away from the much-awaited debut, the motorcycle has been leaked online in a new colour. While we previously gave you all the key information from a set of leaked images, what you see here is the clearest leak yet as the influence of the existing NS series is more than apparent.

The blue-ish black colour with sporty graphics and the red colour spotted a few days ago will be accompanied by more paint schemes. The flagship motorcycle boasts an evolutionary approach to design, taking inspiration from the NS200 while the triple-tone finish accentuated by contrast red touches add to the aggressive styling philosophy that has been followed over the years.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 has several commonalities with the latest Pulsar models such as the NS200 and N250 including the body panels. The suspension duties are performed by 41 mm or 43 mm upside down front forks in golden colour and a pre-load adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking hardware comprises front and rear disc brakes, assisted by a dual-channel ABS system.

The muscular fuel tank will be capable of taking in more fuel than in the NS200 while the fuel tank extensions go well with the sharp looking front end. It comprises LED projector headlamp unit similar to the N250 and the LED DRL signatures align with the design found in the NS200. You could also see a split seat setup and a wide handlebar along with rearward set footpegs.

It will have a longer wheelbase than the NS200 but will sit on the familiar perimeter frame, altered to house the 373.2 cc liquid-cooled engine. It features box-type swingarm and 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels. The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will also be equipped with an all-digital instrument console with a integrated small multi-info display.

Other highlights are split grab rails, twin LED tail lamps, ABS modes, traction control system, Bluetooth connectivity, slipper and assist clutch and belly pan. We do expect the prices to hover around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom) as the naked streetfighter will be slotted below the Dominar 400 in the brand’s lineup.
